VUE (Vue.js Single-File Component) adalah format file komponen Vue.js yang menggabungkan template HTML, JavaScript logic, dan CSS styling dalam satu file terpadu. Vue.js adalah framework JavaScript progressive untuk membangun UI.
File .vue berisi tiga section: <template> untuk markup HTML (komponen UI), <script setup> atau <script> untuk JavaScript (logic, state, methods), dan <style scoped> untuk CSS (styling terisolasi). Vue 3 menggunakan Composition API (<script setup>) yang lebih fleksibel dari Options API. Fitur: reactive state (ref, reactive), computed properties, watchers, lifecycle hooks, dan teleport/suspense. Vue ecosystem: Vue Router (routing), Pinia (state management), Vite (build tool), dan Nuxt (meta-framework SSR). Keunggulan: learning curve rendah, dokumentasi sangat baik, komunitas aktif, dan performa bagus. Kekurangan: ekosistem lebih kecil dari React, dan kurang banyak low-level control. Vue 3 dengan Vapor mode (experimental) meningkatkan performa secara signifikan. File .vue dikompilasi oleh Vite atau Webpack ke JavaScript murni.
